For Joe, the best part about working at Movable Roots is the variety and uniqueness of each project. "Every home is different and unique," he says. "Being a custom builder, you get to work on something new and exciting every time."
Expectations vs. Reality
When Joe first joined Movable Roots, he had a very different idea of what to expect. "I binged watched tiny home shows to prepare for the job," Joe admits. "Which turned out to be a complete waste of time. The standards we hold here at Movable Roots are much higher than anything you see on TV."
A Favorite Project: The Overlook Cottage Park Model Home
Among the many projects Joe has worked on, the Overlook Cottage Park Model Home stands out as his favorite. This project exemplifies the craftsmanship and attention to detail that Movable Roots is known for.
Life Beyond the Workshop
When he's not crafting beautiful custom homes, Joe enjoys an active lifestyle. He loves mountain biking and spending quality time at the beach with his family.
Tools of the Trade
Every carpenter has their favorite tools, and Joe is no exception. His go-to tools include the Kreg Jig and pocket screws, with a special shoutout to his trusty Nick S.
