As the lead framer at Movable Roots, go behind the scenes with Chris B who plays a vital role in every structure we create—whether it’s a tiny home on wheels, a modular build, or one of our newest mobile office units. He’s been with us for over a year, but it feels like he’s been part of the team from day one.

Chris found his way to Movable Roots through friends from high school—and quickly became a key player on the floor. Though his job is framing, it’s the finished product that he’s most passionate about. “Seeing the home completed and ready to roll out—that’s the best part,” he says.

What makes Chris stand out isn’t just his craftsmanship. It’s his leadership, his steady attitude, and the kindness he brings to the team. His favorite projects involve both wood and metal framing, and his go-to build soundtrack? Classic rock. It’s a fitting choice for someone who balances hard work with an easygoing spirit.
